Pennine & Pine is a small, husband-and-wife business, creating everything from our own home in Yorkshire.

What started as a shared passion for creating beautiful things has grown into something we're incredibly proud of. Every product we make is made by hand, in small batches, with care and attention from the very beginning to the finished product.

Being small is something we value. It means we know our products, we know our processes and we care about every single thing that leaves our hands.

But handmade doesn't mean cutting corners.

We take what we do seriously. Our products are carefully developed, our working environment is clean and organised, and every product is made with the care, knowledge and attention to detail you'd expect from a professional business.

We're proud to be small. We're proud to make things by hand. And we're even more proud of what we're building together.

Our Story

It started with lavender.

Around five years ago, my wife’s love of lavender inspired me to start growing it at home. The idea was always that, one day, we'd harvest it and turn it into something of our own.

Then, about a year ago, we realised that life had become very busy. With two young children, our days seemed to revolve around work, parenting and everything in between. By the time the children were in bed, there wasn't much time left for us.

So we decided to make some.

We started experimenting with candles and making our first soaps together at home, usually after the children had gone to bed. It gave us something that was ours — a reason to spend time together, be creative and make something with our own hands.

What started as a way to spend more time together slowly became Pennine & Pine.

Today, we're still a small husband-and-wife business, making our products from home in Yorkshire, but what began around our kitchen table has grown into something we're genuinely excited about.

We're still learning about new products, still experimenting and still making everything ourselves — but now we're building something together that we hope can grow with us.
